GPS Mapping and Underground Utility Locating Services

By utilizing the latest Mapping grade GPS equipment, GIS technology, and top of the line underground utility location tools, DTS can provide your company with highly accurate, sub-foot GPS location information for any project component or company asset. These components could be any item or area of interest such as; new and existing underground utilities, manhole covers, culverts, structures, tanks, vessels, or pipelines, to name just a few.

The GPS data of each component can be collected at different stages during the development of your project. Previously collected data can then be easily merged with data collected at later dates, and then stored in your GPS project folder, accessible anytime, via our secured web server.

With accurate GPS Mapping Services from DTS, all your company’s asset locations including underground piping infrastructures can become visible to you at a glance. After gathering field data, your GPS located component information is overlaid on to a geo-referenced, high resolution, satellite or aerial photo for a highly accurate visual reference that is printed to scale. Your map will be accompanied by an easy to read data report that will include the feature’s name along with the longitude and latitude co-ordinates for each item. Additional information, per your request, can be included in the report, such as; field observations, test findings, and/or other required information. DTS will maintain copies of all your GPS Reports at our secure web-based server for your easy access.
